Initial Professional Development
A structured programme for engineering graduates working toward formal professional registration.
Who Qualifies
Open to graduates holding a minimum of a Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution. Applicants must be employed in an engineering-related role or have secured a placement through the APDI WIL programme. Graduates who completed their studies within the past five years are encouraged to apply.
Continuing Professional Development
Ongoing learning and development for registered engineers maintaining their professional standing.
Who Qualifies
Open to engineers who hold current professional registration with a recognised engineering body. Applicants who are working toward registration and have completed their IPD programme are also eligible to begin accumulating CPD credits in preparation for registration.
Work Integrated Learning
Structured workplace placements connecting engineering graduates with industry partners across Botswana.
Who Qualifies
Open to engineering graduates or final-year engineering students at accredited institutions in Botswana. Applicants must hold or be completing a qualification in civil, mechanical, electrical, chemical, mining, industrial or environmental engineering. Unemployed graduates are given priority consideration. Graduates currently employed in non-engineering roles are also welcome to apply.
